Definition

A mechanical drawing standard that uses symbols on engineering drawings to accurately depict the geometric associations among different features of components and assemblies. GD&T provides a common language between engineering, design, manufacturing and quality and has proved invaluable as the complexity of interfacing parts continues to increase.
